PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This comprehensive 50-hour training program is specifically designed for individuals seeking to become licensed Assisted Living Administrators in Rhode Island. Approved by the Rhode Island Department of Health, this program provides essential knowledge and skills necessary for managing and operating assisted living residences in compliance with state and federal regulations. Participants will learn about key aspects of assisted living administration, including legal requirements, resident care, facilities management, staff training, and financial management.

The training covers Rhode Island-specific regulations, responsibilities of an administrator, person-centered care principles, and best practices for managing residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to effectively manage an assisted living residence, ensure quality care, and optimize operational efficiency.
